I really needed new tires and didnt have the time to lift her first so i cut and folded the front fenders. That gave me enough room to put on some General Grabber red letter 31x9.5 's Later i had to cut and fold the rear because too much rubbing when i would hit speed bumps.
I ordered a basket from amazon and mounted it on the roof.
I helped my uncle install a 3" lift on his 96 and learned alot.

I found a used 4" lift on craigslist and installed it as well as new shocks, quick disconnects, and new full leaf packs.
here is a list of other things ive done:
new radiator
water pump
thermostat
electric fan switch
new starter
new brake rotors/pads and drums/pads
I made some a-pillar light brackets out of 1/8" thick stainless steel and installed a hella 500 light kit

Finally got to take the wife (first baby on the way) out on an overnight camping trip with some friends in Borrego Springs (sheeps canyon). the jeep did great off road although i lost some transmission fluid on the steep grade back to san diego. Transmission service is top of my list and possible tranny cooler.
Im open to any suggestions you guys may have for my build. I get all my ideas and fixes from this site. Its awesome!!

Baby is now two months old, I was finally able to build and add some things. Had a guy at work fab up some rocksliders. Installed those and I found a local guy that makes hood louvers for jeeps. I ordered a pair and cut out my hood and installed them. Painted with rustoleum hammered.
