Lol thanks. The guys at NAPA made fun of it but didn't realize it was my jeep they were talking about. He had that "oh ****" look on his face but I don't mind, it's a work in progress. New paint this spring/summer.

Waiting for a few nice days to get started on painting. It's gonna be OD green when I'm done. Recently got a full size matching spare and a jerry can. The spare fits very snug in the stock location.

Where did you find these clips? Been looking for something quick and cheap like these for a while.

I got mine at Ollie's for about $1. Any hardware store will have them, even Walmart sells them for like $2. They are actually broom handle clamps or something like that.

Thanks! Love your build by the way, definitely starting a MOLLE set-up of my own this weekend. Can't wait for the nice weather so I can start some of the mods I've been planning all winter.

No problem and thanks for the comment. Post pics of your MOLLE set up in the MOLLE thread when you do it. I like how people have different set ups for MOLLE, key word is modular. I need to update pics to show my current pouches and gear. Also working on a MOLLE tire cover....

Been nice weather lately so I started to paint. Well I started to paint my new grill. Its OD green spray paint and spray on bedliner, both from Walmart. The XJ will be this color green soon, except for plastic parts which will be bedlined.

Took almost all month, doing sections at a time but it's pretty much done. I need to redo the bottom body line and flares. But it's good enough for now. I killed the rust bubbles that formed and have 2 coats of primer followed with the OD green.

Not much will happen in June. Currently at guard annual training. Then helping a buddy move. So in late June more minor progress updates.

Thank you, I appreciate it. Interior mods are my favorite personally. It's where I spend most of my time so might as well make it work for me. I got some other plans for interior but it needs to stop raining. Also need to finish my paint job and touch up.

So made some progress today. My buddy found a cheap Hi Lift jack on Craigslist. So he picked it up for me. Took it apart, stripped the paint off, and bedlined it with spray on Rustoleum. Using 550 cord as a temporary solution for a mount on my brush guard.

Also did some touch up paint. More importantly, I painted over most of my chrome. The window trim and roof rack are now OD Green. My chrome bumpers are now bedlined until I can get some Nates bumpers.

CB power and ground wires ran to the battery.
PA power and ground wires ran to the battery.
PA is mounted to my brush guard.
Hi Lift is now mounted to my roof rack.
Cut out cancer on the front doors. (Diamond plate will be installed soon.)
Oil change
BTW, I bought this XJ with 116xxx miles last July, I'm at 135xxx miles in less than a year.
