Figured I should start a build thread for my xj so here it goes.

I have a maroon 2000 jeep Cherokee 4x4. It already has a 4.5 rough country lift and I'm running on 33x12.50s. I also have 4.10 gears. For protection I have front winch bumper with a winch and a rear bumper. 6 pro comp lights, tire rack on my roof with a shovel and a high lift.

What I plan on doing is installing a 8-9in lift either long arm or 4 link kit, running Dana 60s front and rear, probably 4.88 gears, 37in tires, bead locked rims, chopping the top, exo cage, rock sliders, onboard air, inverter, maybe a onboard welder for small trail repairs and hydro assist steering

Got the back cut today. I'll be starting to fit everything up shortly.

pretty clean work on that chop top so far. are you gonna be able to clean up the edge where the body meets the rear hatch where it doesn't line up quite right? sounds like an ambitious build

Ya I'm going to do some sheet metal work so it looks like the hatch is wider then it actually is.

Lookin good, I can't stand it when people chop their Jeep and don't finish it off at all, leaving all the cut edges n stuff, it looks like crap. You are finishing it off better than anything ive personally ever seen..looks like a chopped Jeep i'll end up liking! Keep it up
