thanks guys
while i am driving the air will come in. while i am sitting in traffic, ect. the air will vent up and out. as jeepcomj said, the shape didnt allow for them to be flipped the other way without it looking bassackwards. i noticed a great difference while driving.

Jeepcomj helped me put in a auxiliary fan switch so i can control it manually. We also used a stock switch instead of some random toggle so it looks real clean.

he was missing a few options on his switch panels, so we just popped the blank spot out, popped in a switch.
power to the switch is sourced from pin 14 on the fues panel inside the cab. (used red 14 gauge and 5 amp fuse)
power goes from there, through in-line fuse, to switch.
that power then travels to the engine bay. (red 14 gauge again)
from the engine bay, we sourced relay power from the front of the fuse box and through a sealed in-line fuse, brought it around and behind the factory wiring loom so it is not very visible. (green 14 gauge)
relay/relay connector is located in the rear driver's side of the engine bay. hooked up the power from switch to relay, and from battery (i.e. fuse box) to relay.
then grounded out relay (white 14 gauge). also pulled another wire (white) from the factory switch we installed to the ground location of the relay.
from there, it was a matter of one output from the relay to the E fan, and one ground from the E fan to the location where the relay and switch are grounded.
for that, we grabbed a junkyard E fan connector and cut it out, then wired it in direct. for reference, the black is ground and blue is hot for the E fan.
everything was sealed with shrink tube. worked out great. I'll do a write-up on the next one.

well since i sold the ARB front bumper its time i start on a new one. I just ordered (literally 5 seconds ago) some DIY parts from Ajs Offroad Armor. I bought some XJ front bumper mounts and some flared d-ring tabs. So hopefully within the next two weeks I will have work done on the new headliner, over head console and now front bumper.

I got my new steering stabilizer on.
I also added to roof rack rails on, especially for hunting season:

I redid my headliner. I didn't put in a overhead console like I was going to:
Before:

After:

I also got these parts in the mail for my front bumper build since I sold my ARB. AJsOffroad uniframe tie in brackets and d-ring tabs. They are nice  Also in this picture is some Rubicon Express lift shackles. I really didnt need them, but I got a good deal on them.

This picture just shows how beefy the d-ring tabs are:
