So I haven't updated in a while. Mainly because there hasn't been much progress. Its cold outside and on and off snowing.

I sold my JCR front bumper about a month ago. I am acquiring parts to build my own bumper. Reason why I sold it was because I wanted to build a bumper for a winch. I know I could have modified the one I had. I was going to if it didn't sell. This way though, I can build it myself and do whatever I want from scratch.

Here are a few parts I have acquired through December:

Oil Pan Skid Plate:

97+ side view mirrors. This way I can fold them in on the trail instead of breaking them off on a tree.

HD Engineering Shackle Relocation Brackets. I have been wanting these for a while and I couldn't pass up the December sale they had.

Then finally, pieces to build my bumper. I still need some tube and small steel. What you see there is 2x5x3/16" steel, winch plate and AJ's Offroad unibody tie-in brackets and d-ring tabs.

The skid plate is unknown brand, I got it in a parts trade awhile back. Mounts with heavy duty epoxy...jake will hopefully make better use of it than I did...

So a few spoken updates with no pictures until I receive the parts or install them.

Since I switched to JCR's 1-ton steering I have not ran a steering stabilizer. I have been fine without one but I can tell a slight difference. Well in hopes to make my ride more comfy, I ordered JCR's suggested bracket from summit racing to I can run the stabilizer.

Last night I got the mid section of my bumper built. Still have to do the outsides. Time has just been limited.

I recently WON (I never win anything) a portable air compressor from OverRockOffroad which is sweet so Ill be adding that in.

I also jumped the gun and ordered a winch. Not quite the one I wanted but it will do as my first one. O tax returns...haha.
