When I did my frame stffeners I used SEM weld through primer and it was horrible. Sometimes it would come out all chunky other times it would come out like water and yes I shook the hell out of the can for over the 3 minutes it says to on the directions. It would keep clogging up too. I hated it. For this I used Seymour weld through primer and no problems at all. I'm sticking with this for the rest of the project. It's a million times better and its a couple bucks cheaper.

 

I'm finally up to date on this thread. I painted the rails last night. Took forever to post everything from my phone lol.

 

Wanted to atleast get this welded in today but this is as far as I got. Had a pounding headache Probly from the Damn chassis saver fumes. Didn't know they were so powerful.

Got my new tank and straps today. Not sure yet if I'm gonna paint it with the chassis saver or just leave it the way it is.
