I've been thinking..... And here's what I've come up with for mounting a winch on the front of my XJ.. I'm just going to cut out the sheet metal crossbrace that ties the frame rails together (the piece above the hitch) and then make some sort of bolt-in cradle. I have enough braces (and the hitch) in the front that make that dinky piece of sheet metal unnecessary. Lol. And then for the rear, I'll probably look at a 5000lb atv winch or something (since they should be smaller) to hide in the rear bumper (just gotta do double line pulls). And then all I gotta do is figure out where I want to put the 20" LED bar...

That's what I was thinking. Lol. Plus I have a brace that goes between the rails for the RE trackbar bracket and I also have a steering box brace that ties the box.to the other rail too. Lol. I probably have one of the.stiffest front ends anyone could possibly have. Haha.

I honestly can't believe how muddy my Jeep got from being a spectator at the ULTRA4 race... Lmao.

I have some videos that I'll upload later..

Coil spacers, lift blocks, and drop pitman arm arrived..

Now here's the bad news... This happened when I was merging onto the freeway.. Heard a pop/bang and the temp immediately started rising. Stayed at about 230 until I got home.

Little bit of coolant leaking..

Looked like it was coming from the lower rad hose, so I ran to Pepboys and got there literally 5 minutes before they closed..

Caught most of it... Lmao

From when I was re-filling/getting the air out of the coolant.

Problem fixed. Or so I thought...

Took it for a test drive and it all looked good. Coolant temp stayed around 180-190* for the most part and the Jeep ran great.. Then I went into boost... Coolant temp instantly started rising. It was at about 220* by the time I got back home..

Idle was horrible and high (1000rpm). Revved like garbage. Barely was able to move it out of the driveway and onto the street... Smoke was coming out of the exhaust and smelled like coolant.. Awesome. Looks like I blew my head gasket.

So on that note, Stroker
But that really blows, what are you going to do about it?
And would you mind if I pm'd you some questions about split second, It looks to be the best way to tune a 97+

Idk.. My dad and I are going to have to come up with a game plan on what to do..

12.5 pounds boost might be the limit on a 180,000 mile stock 4.0. Still have to investigate. Better MLS head gasket and maybe 16 pounds boost? Always pushing the the limit to find any weaknesses.
