Ok so I checked the front axle and there is no axle tags on it at all. Can I check the Vin number and see it that way or is there something similar to the GM RPO codes on the Cherokees? After checking again, I found a small tag and felt on it the numbers 3.31

If you want to be accurate, then count the teeth.
If you have the rearend opened up where you can see the gears, count the teeth on the ring and pinion. Divide the ring teeth number by the pinion teeth number.
Example: 41 teeth on the ring and 10 teeth on the pinion = 4.10 gear ratio...
probably need to change that diff juice anyways...

i can't even open the diff cause I can't chance contaminating my father's well.
Didnt get anything done on the Jeep so to speak, but I did get the location for the parts Cherokee set up so I can strip that down.
Back end... Passenger side... Driver's side...... Sold the door for $200 which is why the Jeep is being sold to me for $150
that entire jeep is $150 and is going to give me everything but the windshield. So I am also borrowing my father's Cherokee manual so I can strip it...
