Default Project I Think This Was A Bad Idea

Backstory:

I was sitting in national issues and my buddy showed me an ad on Craigslist for a $800 XJ. He never thought a week later it'd be in my driveway. (Yes, this is my second XJ and I still have my silver one). Here's a pic of the ad

I paid $700 for it

It was making a weird sound when running and had a hole in one of the brake lines. Fixed that. Turned out to be a bad alternator. So while I was in there I did the rad, tstat, water pump, belt, all coolant hoses. It has 245k on it so it couldn't hurt.

Exactly! It's having issues staying running at idle and then doesn't want to start. But other than that, it runs great

Guessing there aren't any front doors? Left out in rain or parking it in the garage? Also is there any codes that would relate to the running problems?

"Garage kept" for now lol. Came without front doors. And it's not throwing any codes aside from an o2 sensor

could be running so rich it's choking out. O2 sensors play a big role.

Maybe I'll replace those then. The exhaust was cut after the cat and it looks to be missing the downstream o2 one

The jeep seems to be running fine after getting the battery charged. Fixed a stuck caliper yesterday

So I broke the track bar bolt on the axle side. Any idea how I get it out?

Depending on how/where it broke, You'll have to cut with a sawzall or whatever you can get in there.

It's setup like this... to give you an idea.

I had the same thing happen to me on my last XJ. Saws All was the only way of getting it out.
