Because I don't like them and they break all the time and they aren't built to very high expectations.

Rough Country is a good beginner kit. Maybe you'd be happier with Zone, BDS, or Iron Rock.

I've only just started to do things with my Jeep that I've realized my Rough Country kit isn't the best for.

I'm going heavy duty with Clayton in the future.

I love my IRO kit. Performs extremely well, and quality parts.

I'm going to do Clayton suspension. I have been swayed into using the BDS long arms instead of the TNT long arms because a 4-link long arm supposedly has more stability against unloading than radius arms do.

I was always told that a 3 link will have better street manners and my true 3 link made my jeep pretty damn good. But I could be wrong, and also isn't the clayton uppers just attached to the lowers?...

I'm going to be using Clayton leaf springs and coil springs, but the BDS long arms.

The reason I'm not going to use radius arms are because of all the negative rap they're getting:

Nice choice. I just ordered the BDS Long Arms yesterday to replace the RC short arms that were on my XJ when I bought it.

Let me know how you like them!

Also, what kind of limiting straps will you be using?

I'm probably not going to install them until I do my JK axle swap this summer. I'm still hoarding parts at the moment so I haven't crossed that bridge yet.

I got my Bilsteins from Frank @ Serious Offroad today and I finished installing them tonight.

I will have installation pictures later since I finished in the dark. But here they are after UPS came:

So the original kit I wanted was having some back order issues, but Frank had a backup plan for me. These shocks for the rear are just slightly shorter than they should be, but since I have rear bar pin eliminators, I'm sure the bar pin eliminators make up for the lost length.

The ride quality of these is noticeably better than the Rough Country 2.0 shocks. It's less stiff. And they haven't even broken in yet.
