Yeah, I might have caught a new lung cancer that will soon be advertised on T.V. offering cash rewards. LOL

Knocking SOLVED!

I rolled in a set of new rod bearings today with the engine still in the chassis (super easy with my 6.5-inch lift), and wowwwwwww, cylinder 6 was really worn:

Cylinder 3 was also pretty bad, as was cylinder 5, but the others were alright. I replaced all 6 rod bearings just to be safe.

I feel much better without any knocking. The crankshaft looked great, pistons looked great, no wrist pin movement. I'm happy!

Picked this up at Advance today since my old steering wheel cover was wearing out:

I managed to find a four-switch bezel from a police package XJ, so I'm using that for my dual fog light LED light bar switches now:

That means... my custom made bezel is for sale now. I just don't know how much yet.

What's the vin code for the police package,
and did it come on the early Renix XJ's?

Uh, I don't know. It's basically a modified upcountry package with better gearing, extended idle, and a few other bells and whistles.

I did a little photo shoot for my Instagram today. They're just pretty shots. Nothing special.
