Project DARTH VADER
So this is my story, I recently bought a 94 xj all black and 5speed (my dream jeep) i saw the heep on good ole craigs list for 400$ at the time i already had a 1992 limited but slowly the terrible nepa winters were calming her i bought her for $500 on craigs list about a year ago all stock did alot to it wheeled the hell out of it with only a 2" bb lift with 31's
So long story short i lifted the limited 5" and i saw that the rockers and rear floors and leaf spring boxes were all gone SOOOOOO my new purchase of the new black xj which i was gonna use for a parts jeep will be my new project.
so i contacted the guy with the jeep and i went looked at it. he told me it needed a brake line and had some rust BUT it being a 5 speed and black i needed it! sooo i talked him down to $250 yes 250 and drove her home as is no brakes and sticky throttle but that story is for a different thread
So the disasembly of my beloved limited began and the building of darth vader began....

So this is the jeep when i first got it STOCK AS A ROCK!
Got it home in one piece
Now the guy told me the rust was bad and from the out side the jeep is mint, until i saw some wood under the passenger side seat so after further investigation i found this
so what you gonna do i got the heep for $250 i cant complain and as far as any structural rust there is non just the floor
so at first i tried being cheep and using sheet metal and i got frustrated really quickly and i threw the metal into the woods and just decided to order the pan from C2Cfabrication.com
if you look close in this pic you can see a blood spot from my finger^^^^
so yeah this was alot easier
the rear half came soon after

As far as mods for this jeep i have a little list
Front Locker
RC4.5 long arm with full leafs no AAL bs
already have a 2" bb on it
zj overhead console in the works
led rock lights
led front turn signals
subaru leather out back seats
rear limited seat
tints
im sure theres more i have to
as far as bumpers i have a front and rear bumper from my limited that im using along with a sound bar tilt steering column but for now here are some pics of my limited she will be missed
Quick stats
air raid throttle body spacer and cold air
5" home brew lift
31X10.5 15 bfg at kos
custom rear bumper
custom front stinger with winch plate
and more rust you can shake at
now that the limited is a parts jeep and had alot to offer i will use the doors to make half doors closer to summer and i switched out my stupid idiot light cluster for the limiteds normal cluster

The weather here in the NEPA sucks lately so its slow moving right now the floor is nearing completion.
I got bored waiting for parts so i decided to throw my 31's and 2" bb lift on im so impatient
Its been almost 3 months since iv been wheeling and i needed my fix
UPDATE!
black housings in the mail
pads and rotors for the front
water pump tstat and new rad
and i sourced a zj rear disc set up that i will take pics of when it warms up alittle
i also used my moded taillights from my limited
And me at the junk yard fighting with a trailer hitch that i wanted

MORE updates i finally finished my front led turn signals and its a super cheap simple mod and i know every one who ones a jeep loves cheap mods
so here we go
when i worked at NAPA i knew how to get my hands on alotta cool **** so i found these made by Trucklite
you can get them from your local napa for about $20 each they have 3 plugs on the back one for power one for the turn or stop and one for ground so its plug and play
then i split the lens its really easy, i just used a razor blade and it came off
then you simply put the leds in the casing and clue it back up i used a combo of automotive clear epoxy and a hot glue gun
and here you go
simple clean and cheap!
just need an led flasher and ill be set
in a matter of 3 hours is mounted the winch, bolted in head lights and mounted my led turn signals
it took a little long because every ****ing screw that held the turn signal lenses broke in the stupid fiberglass bezel
i still need to wire the winch and mount the rollers but could not resist putting it on!
finally put my other tire back on after i slashed it 3 months ago on my limited
not bad for only being stock about a month ago with no floors
next is the long arm and a few other mods
