Default Project DARTH VADER

So this is my story, I recently bought a 94 xj all black and 5speed (my dream jeep) i saw the heep on good ole craigs list for 400$ at the time i already had a 1992 limited but slowly the terrible nepa winters were calming her i bought her for $500 on craigs list about a year ago all stock did alot to it wheeled the hell out of it with only a 2" bb lift with 31's

So long story short i lifted the limited 5" and i saw that the rockers and rear floors and leaf spring boxes were all gone SOOOOOO my new purchase of the new black xj which i was gonna use for a parts jeep will be my new project.

so i contacted the guy with the jeep and i went looked at it. he told me it needed a brake line and had some rust BUT it being a 5 speed and black i needed it! sooo i talked him down to $250 yes 250 and drove her home as is no brakes and sticky throttle but that story is for a different thread

So the disasembly of my beloved limited began and the building of darth vader began....

Got it home in one piece

Now the guy told me the rust was bad and from the out side the jeep is mint, until i saw some wood under the passenger side seat so after further investigation i found this

so what you gonna do i got the heep for $250 i cant complain and as far as any structural rust there is non just the floor

so at first i tried being cheep and using sheet metal and i got frustrated really quickly and i threw the metal into the woods and just decided to order the pan from C2Cfabrication.com

MORE updates i finally finished my front led turn signals and its a super cheap simple mod and i know every one who ones a jeep loves cheap mods

so here we go

when i worked at NAPA i knew how to get my hands on alotta cool **** so i found these made by Trucklite

you can get them from your local napa for about $20 each they have 3 plugs on the back one for power one for the turn or stop and one for ground so its plug and play

then i split the lens its really easy, i just used a razor blade and it came off

Size: 76.9 KB

then you simply put the leds in the casing and clue it back up i used a combo of automotive clear epoxy and a hot glue gun

and here you go

simple clean and cheap!

just need an led flasher and ill be set

in a matter of 3 hours is mounted the winch, bolted in head lights and mounted my led turn signals

it took a little long because every ****ing screw that held the turn signal lenses broke in the stupid fiberglass bezel

i still need to wire the winch and mount the rollers but could not resist putting it on!
