Get Yukon install kits. They are awesome! Come with quality stuff and plenty of shims in plenty of sizes.

Just did the 8.8 swap in my XJ , I tacked the center to the tubes used a ruff stuff install kit reused the shock brackets off my d35 . I should have the new carrier and gears/install kit after the first of the year . It is nice having 4.10s
On 30 tall rubber the 8.8 looks funny under the jeep but , I won't have to worry about it any more . Disc brakes in the rear made my rig stop a lot better .

Bought the jeep a present:

Ironman4x4 upper control arms w/ poly bushings

In thanks it promptly rewarded me with this:

Throttle Position Sensor committed suicide

But it got me though the snow without issue the last couple days. Now there's no snow on the roads so - perfect timing i guess

aaaaand my blower motor is dead...so the lack of forced heat in blizzard conditions was fun

I miss the snow... I DO NOT miss my blower motor going out in incliment weather. Sucks when it's warm and rainy here too - all the windows fog up and you end up pulling an Ace Ventura and driving with your head out the window.

$22 later and I have a new blower motor. Old one was definitely original and locked up. HEAT IS GOOD.

Ah the whole motor went out? That sucks. Heat is a good thing!
