Just read your build, So far looks great. Cuttin those rear fenders scares me! I'm planning on cutting my fenders & installing my Bushwacker Flat Fenders (that I've had for a year now) this weekend -hopefully-. Keep the photo's & comentary coming..... I'm debating weather or not to "rinoline" parts of my body. It'd be interesting to see how your Monstaliner holds up with th UV rays & wheelin. Great Job

Thanks for following.... yeah, I might need some fender flares as well... as you will soon see in my pics the tires are a flingin' stuff all over, but I really was hoping to avoid flares, I wanted to maintain the true ruff redneck look....

As far as the Monstaliner, I can't truthfully say much yet on UV and trail endurance (hoping to get some good tests in the spring) but the stuff just feels like a hard armor shell over the whole thing.... I am definitely glad I did it.... I will be posting in great detail how it holds up on the trails...

You inspired me.... After reading up on all the liner products out there last night.... I placed an order for the Black Monstaliner 1 Gal kit & some of their Cassis Saver. Looks like next weekend will be my sanding/cutting/painting day...... Thanks a lot! LOL

nice man! Good luck, and post some pics of the process.... I will tell you that prep is everything, and the INSTANT you see the roller start to disintegrate and leave little bits of crap in the 'liner, change it out for a fresh one.... any other questions don't hesitate to holler at me....

That's what I want to know!!! Was supposed to pick it up from the shop yesterday, they asked for another day.... so should be finished today.... I really wanted to put it on myself, however I travel a lot for work and just wanted to get it done and over with, and to be honest with a full long arm kit I wanted it done absolutely correct... I will be doing the disc brake conversion and other work my self though.... I need to maintain my "man card" somehow....

Thanks! Yeah, came out better than expected, and I have other ideas and "gear containment" stuff that I will be adding to the back area. Now I just have to finish outfitting my "bug-out" bag and gear list that will go into it...

Default "New to me" tires

So, since I couldn't pick up ol' girl yesterday, here for your viewing pleasure is a pic I took in the fall after I bought some used tires off of Craisglist.... Now before you guys flame me (I know it looks funny) I found five tires and rims for $400 and couldn't pass it up. I also thought I was going to have the lift done within a couple weeks but that didn't work out.... so I threw them on and pretty much just used it for "grocery runs" when it wasn't just sitting in the driveway.... anyway, should look decent when I get it back today.... I will be using/abusing those tires for a while, I might pick up some flat black steelies in the spring, then new KM2's or Duratracs in the fall....

Well, I finally got her back... and she looks good.... I only have a little free time, but was able to get her dirty by the ol' Missouri River.....

Unfortunately, gonna have the project on hold again for a little while, but it will be fun to break in the new lift!

What do ya think?
