Crickets?....
so after a little (ok, a lot) of research (thank god for the google site:search) I have decided to go with the Powertrax No Slip front and rear. With all the pros and cons, and cost being a factor, I think it is the best bang for the buck.... gonna start with the rear, and wheel the hell out of it and see how it goes.... after that might do the front... down the road maybe Warn locking hubs for the front for easy street driving...

Air lockers seem like too much hassle to me. There's electric lockers too, which is probably what I would go with if it wasn't for the price. Air lockers, I figure you need electric to power the air compressor, so there's two systems that could fail. Cut out the middle man. My XJ isn't my DD but needs to be somewhat roadworthy, I'll probably throw a lunchbox style locker in.
The Monstaliner w/ the window tint looks awesome. Not wild about that hack job on your front fenders though
if it were me, I'd find some new fenders and redo them and go with the Bushwacker Flatties. But that's me. Question--did you get your lift done at a 4x4 shop? what did they sock you for that?

OK, so I am back in the spring swing of things... gonna get some new stuff done and post some pics... anybody that has been watching is probably bored as hell, so stay tuned for some new stuff.... most likely a rear LBL as well as a rear disc brake conversion... Thanks to all you guys, I feel confident in tackling those jobs. Pics to follow... oh, and I have a little cosmetic touch I am thinking about adding... you're either gonna love it or hate... but that's how it is when you post your stuff out there on the interwebs...

I'm also doing the disc conversion very soon, hopefully within the next few weeks.

No, although I guess I will admit I thought about it.... do you have a good write up for the disc conversion? If not, here is a good one..

Ok, so I placed my order for front and rear Spartan Lockers.... should be here sometime next week....
Also went to O'reillys and picked up just about everything to do the rear disc brake conversion.... still need backing plates though.... going to try and tackle all of this next week at the same time... should be interesting...
keep your fingers crossed for me, mechanically speaking I could screw up a train wreck....

From what I have read, you retain the parking brake... but you need a hardware kit... which I bought from Oriellys... I don't have the part number in front of me, but I have it written somewhere... I believe the only thing you might need is a longer cable, but I will know more when I get into the project.
Also, great news... I ordered my front and rear Spartan Lockers from the vendor on here "RWKHause Supply".... ordered them last friday and received them on monday! Wow! Superfast and the order was correct, awesome price too! I opened them up to check the parts, but haven't started the install.... I will be doing all of this in the same day (hopefully) since I will need to drain the diff's anyway..... not sure when I am actually going to start it though....
