interesting. It is something to think about but I doubt I will ever do it.
And I got the side pieces of the kit mounted up. noone carries a 25/32" drill bit so I had to use a 3/4" drill bit and then just make the hole 400hundredths bigger. not a bit deal other than the bit was $25....
But my entire instal is DONE! all the bolts got a single torque. I will retorque at a later date too

Thats definitely more flex than your short arms, or maybe it just looks that way because of how your wheel travels with the LAs. I am impressed! Its the most flex I have seen from the RC LA kit.
Maybe you could put a pic of your short arm flex and LA flex in one post....

I was actually able to go a whole nother section of railing with long arms and unseat the 6.5" coil springs off the spacer....

So my short arms I guess didnt max out the shocks.. Oh well. I can take it and say that I was wrong lol

Thanks 96! Cool to compare side by side(or up and down haha). I promise a vote if you ever go for COM.
Hey XJ?2010, 96 extends his LAs to stretch his wheelbase. It helps both on and offroad, but I am sure he will explain it better when he sees this.

The reason I do the stretch is because of a few things.
1) approach angle and I like to play in the rocks so it helps alot.
2) bigger tires. More room in the front of the wheel wells than in the back
3) the coil spring upper surface is angled so to keep a strait coil spring the (the bend in coil springs is what makes them sag) a little stretch is nice.
4) when I was on short arms it helped SO much with everything.
