i do appreciate the help however i am not going to instal the speakers i have in anything other than the doors....

and i cant instal cheapy speakers either due to the cross over i have for my door speakers. so i just set my head unit to only play the back ones and turned off the front ones at the amp just to make sure i dont ruin anything

All good on my idea. I work at a sign shop so sheetmetal is everywhere. I picked up that old cherokee for 700 bucks and made it my daily driver. it turned heads and went everywhere with no sway bars!

Enjoy being doorless! great looking jeep! Wish mine was originally black

so to put the doors back on required a second person and me hammering the pins into the holes... It is a very tight fit ....

i managed to adjust the doors to where they fit against the door seals tighter than they ever have before!

got the doors to slide on and off with ease now!!! just required a little grease and to trim the pin a little more.

Also went wheeling today with 3 other forum members good day!

btw. the name of this hill is called pucker hill. we named it today.

the reason being is that.. the hill is a rutted mess that is just steep. you know like the you have a hard time walking up or down because you keep sliding it is so steep? photos dont document well... But i almost made it up and over until i hit that last rock and the front passenger tire wanted to come up, you are already looking at the sky and then that happened so i called it quits. I was not going to risk a roll over-no shots of my 2 attempts. Dahnk choose a different line and has a rear locker so he made it up and over with a little bounce... But on the way down with the engine now pulling the vehicle and the rear end being so light the rear kept wanting to come up and over... so i ran up the best i could to use my body weight to keep the rear end of the jeep down.... it makes your butt cheeks hurt a little bit... Thank goodness for great brakes!
