Default re how big

Pro comp will not give a specific lift it says depends on application this is a multi vehicle application kit any where from 1.5 inches to 3 inches I hope its around 2 inches so i will have 4" in back with the shackles....I have read some guys are getting 3.5 inches at first that settle down to around 2.5 inches....

You can reuse the stock spring bands with a little patients, a hammer, pliers and some c clamps

Default Project BLACK BETTY U joint

Heres the u bolt upgrade for the rear yolk I did on the Dana 44 today from Winston427 thanks man Link below to the how to ( Side note on a Dana 44 the yoke is is bigger so when I tightened the u bolts down they bent cause the nut was in contact with the yolk I dont think it made them weaker but who knows we will see.

Nice!
One Q though: Why the mini spool? If it was budget constraints I fully understand, but wouldn't an autolocker, (on the cheap side) or a detroit TT
(not so cheap) been more practical for street driving?
Not trying to talk sh%t about your decision, just curious about the spool and
how it performs? if it works great for you then who cares.
Be sure and post back about its behavior though, I'm wondering if I should use one in my old D35 till it goes snap!

O dang! those are stretched a wee bit..
You could try removing a small amount of material from around each face of the yolk to clear the washers/nuts....
A dremel tool perhaps?

i started a thread on the mini spool... basically the same thing as welding except if you dont like howit rides you can take it back out... welding not... there only $50 on ebay... so why not... many people chimed in and said once you learned how to drive it on wet pavement and such it was awesome... as far as i know they dont make them for the D35... if they did then you can bet it WILL snap...

I have two friends with lunch box gear less lockers one has Detroits model the other guy has a lock right the guy with the Detroit says his dose not disengage most of the time when turning and make the out side tire bark......The other guy with the lock right ....well his broke they replaced it but he was out the money for a new carrier which got messed up in the proses...Who know his carier could have broke and that cause the damage to the lock right but either way he was out of commission for a while....And this is not a daily driver.....Im running used tires and the mini spool was cheap if i dont like it i can change it and im only out $50
