Project: About D*** Time!
Ok kids, so the time has finally come, my 95' Cherokee 5 speed is going upwards.
I have started ordering the majority of my parts, so I will share my build list.
The plan is for about 5" of lift with 33X10.50 KM2's on 15X8 with 4" bs.
I already have IRO upper & lower control arms installed and I have an SYE in the garage waiting to be installed.
I have to change out my front axle before I can order tires since my front pinion bearing is toast.
I plan to buy a Dana 30 w/ 4.10 gears and I will just leave the front driveshaft disconnected until I can afford a Ford 8.8 with 4.10s to go in the rear.
Order on 9/1 from Clayton OffroadOrder on 9/2 from Iron Rock OffroadPlanned orders for the near future include:Planned orders for the new year include:Parts I already have:Stay tuned, the near future is going to be fun.

Just gotta say that I love the customer service @ Iron Rock Offroad. I ordered this stuff on the weekend and as of 9 AM this morning I have an invoice in my email. Pretty dang good for the day after a holiday.

Alright, so, as promised here are a few before pics, along with a few details of the good, the bad, and the ugly.
So some of the good include that the Jeep is still running very strong with 180K on it.
I recently replaced the control arms with IRO uppers and lowers.
I just replace the wheel bearings ( they will be coming off and going onto a newer dana 30).
The bad includes things like, lots of rattles, especially in the flip out windows and in the dash, though I'm sure some of that is due to it needing an alignment.
The gas mileage for a stock cherokee is not great. I'm getting around 13mpg after doing a tune up within the last 6 months (leads me to think that maybe I need to replace my O2 sensors).
The ugly: The ride...sucks. I'm talking "wum wum wum wum" and then the occasional bone jarring "bang" when I hit any sort of bump.
My shocks, shot.
My leaf spring bushings, shot.
My pinion bearing in the dana 30, shot.
My tie rod ends are actually not terrible.
My brakes, shot.
There are a lot of things I will be fixing on this sucker to get her running happy again.
Until next time, here's a little **** of one of my first projects I did to the jeep.

Well, box #2 is here from IRO and let me tell you, their track bar is beefy. I can't say that I'm all too surprised though cuz I have their control arms as well and they are just as comparable.
I'm headed on a road trip to my brothers wedding tonight so I will upload the pic I took of box #2 when I get there.

Came home from work this morning and took a nap, and found these guys on my porch when I woke up. Thank you Clayton Offroad.
Also** I have a 1996 Dana 30 w/ 4.10s being shipped up to my cousins house.

Probably gonna take a trip to the junkyard this weekend to pick up some leaf packs, a driveshaft and a tie rod... and whatever else I might find when I get there
