Personally from what I've seen and people who've done it, two sets of rears is the preferred way to do it

Thank you. Two sets of rears sound like a plan. Oh and i think we will do some narrow 32" A/T's instead of narrow 33's.......

If flareless is done right it look's pretty good, just be careful for your local PD. My town PD started cracking down on wheels sticking out past vehicles...I've never gotten pulled over for it...I think they mainly mean the Mexicans around here with the "Drag tire width" wheels on Ford F-150's ! Loving the build! PM'ing you on ur lift!

I'm guessing the main reason you're calling it a pre-runner is because its 2WD. Where I come from a pre-runner is any lifted 2WD with flared fenders. Looks good man! (looks just like mine, but 4 door and 2WD) Don't listen to what the haters say. Go find some sweet jumps and have fun with it!

Like the idea of this build ! You say pre-runner but what is the differnect between a pre-runner and a trophy truck? From that first photo they look the same.

Seriously, we tend to be nice people on here, and tend to be nice to each other, you need to chill out man.

I'm looking forward to this build, I wanna see what it turns in to.

a pre-runner does just that, its a vehicle for pre-running the course so the driver and co-pilot know what to expect.
