New lift shakedown run
Finished my lift last weekend; got the bugs worked out this week. Took her up by Hunter Lake in Reno to flex it for the first time. I'm pleased. I would have more pics, but I dropped my camera when my klutzy *** slipped and these are the last pictures it will ever take.
It is:
Other various crap is a SYE, Cherokee front shaft in the rear, extended brake lines, etc.
Anyway,
It flexes very well. Like I said, I'd have more pics if my camera was built to handle being thrown to the ground and fallen on. Next time.
It is:
- Iron Rock Off Road Critical Path long arm kit
- Iron Rock Off Road double shear adjustable track bar
- JKS Quicker Disco's
- Rusty's 4.5" coils with a 1.75" spacer
- Rubicon Express 4.5" leaf packs with a 1.5" shackle
- 285/75R16 Big Foot XT's on Moabs with 1.25" wheel spacers
Other various crap is a SYE, Cherokee front shaft in the rear, extended brake lines, etc.
Anyway,
It flexes very well. Like I said, I'd have more pics if my camera was built to handle being thrown to the ground and fallen on. Next time.

That's my shock rod, not my brake line. I'm running 28" front lines and a 22" in the rear. I had it flexed much farther than that. This ain't my first rodeo.

If it's my brake line, it isn't tight. Look at the angle it's at compared to where my caliper is. Like I said, 28" front brake lines. My shocks, when fully extended, are 29". The brake line mounts up 9.5" below the top of my shock, so when the shocks are at full droop I'd still have over 8" of slack in the line. Tape measure FTW!!
