What kind of leaves? Cancel and re order somewhere else! Or save the money and build a bastard pack.

 

They are rough country. I ordered them from rustys. It seems RC is the only company that makes a 4.5" leaf pack. All companies have their own but they all only sell RC 4.5". So i think no matter where i orde

 

Just bastard pack it, throw a block in there, and run an anti wrap bar. Or be a real man and 4 link it.

Yeah that doesnt sound too bad. Alright! Today ill hopefully finish up my crossmember! (Just have to trim it down a bit) and plannin on weldin up my coil mounts on the 44!

 

How much lift are you shooting for?

 

Bout 4-5 inches

 

Add an extra leaf, 1.5" shackle, 2" block, and an anti-wrap. That'll be plenty for 35's.

 

Im runnin 37's

 

Then make it a 3" block.

This was like 4-1/2, 38's, stretched.

This is my crossmember, just a few pics of it coming together. The last pic is it almost done. Just gotta trim a little more and cut the holes for the tranny mount. But it's pretty much done! Just postin pics to not look so lame

 

Looking good! You still going to make it bolt in, or weld it right to the stiffeners?

 

I'm gonna do both. I'm gonna retain the two factory bolts and then weld it. I'm gonna just bolt it up for now, because when i weld on my arm brackets i wanna be able to pull the member off to weld em on. ... since i'm new to welding, Wanna take every good opportunity i can. but i will weld it to the stiffeners when it's all said and done!

 

Also!! Leaf spring order canceled. I'ma figure somethin' else out.
