cleaned up the trans and tcase today to start prep for paint. I am busy with school+plus being under the weather, so it might be slow for a little bit

 

still be kinda busy with school, starting to get over this cold, so I got to work on it a little today. cleaned the tranny/tcase some more and mounted the DTB manifold up to see what it looks like, with that and the blacked thermostat housing it looks great.

everything is coming back off so the block can be painted.

I need a older style PS setup, If anyone wants to trade for the updated style then let me know, Ill trade the new brackets,pump, and intake mani for the older style pump and bracket.

I also now have the 99 intake and TB and fuel rail/injectors for sale now.

 

Wow, never seen the DTB's before, that looks awesome. Can't wait to see a video of it running.

 

me too! lol. we are def on the home stretch. Im just taking some summer school classes so I can only work on it so often

 

I have been really busy with school so havent been able to do too much.

just working on little stuff, and pulling off parts off the jeep to sale to try and keep life going.

finally got a hoist so I can throw the motor in. I also started working on the adapter plate for PS pump, to use the new PS on the older manifold.

Yea, I normally like to throw in a pic to keep you guys updated, even if its just my other projects that delay this one....he picked up that one for only 400! just have to be patient and do alot of looking,


I got all the stuff pulled off the motor tonight. it will hopefully get everything painted tomorrow, then maybe even dropped in. right now I need a alt bracket and PS bracket. Im pretty sure im going to delete my AC. it has its pros and cons. and I cant really decide.

feels good to finally get back to work on this thing.

I got everything pulled off the block, stripped it down, and am, as i type, in the process of repainting it. so far I go the primer down.

 

well now it is black to match everything else under the hood.

 

I want to see it drive.

 

got the motor finished painted, and even clear coated it to help keep it looking new, and to make it easier to clean.

I think I have also figure out my trans issue, and started pulling apart the tail housing

I could finish it tonight, but seeing how its fathers day, I doubt Ill have time.

I also figured out my dads ZJ has the PS pump I need, so I need to talk him into swapping me.
