Brake parts are on order. They shipped today! Waiting patiently. Ordered Wagner rear rotors and some new parking brake shoes and hardware. Also ordered Wagner front wheel studs for my 91 xj to replace the ones in the back (too short).

Brake parts got here today! Talk about fast! Big plus to rockauto.com!
Wagner rear rotors, Carlson parking brake hardware, and Monroe parking brake shoes.
I expect the new wagner front 'rear' wheel studs will be here Tuesday.

For your rims, i would paint the spokes and in-between them black, leaving the outer rim shiny which i think is option 2. i think leaving the jeep logo shiny would look good

Still awaiting the wheel studs. I am thinking tomorrow will be another 'vacation' day. Hopefully will get to get something done.

Update time (way overdue). The rear discs have been on for a couple of months now almost. I am SOOOOO pleased with them. Even without the ZJ prop valve (which I will be installing soon), braking is much more even and controlled. No front end lean when braking, no sticking drums, no crap. I am so pleased.
Enough rambling. Pics!

My wife also got me a surprise for my birthday. Until now, I have been using a dinky Autozone special jack that wasn't even tall enough for my rig and sank into gravel. It sucked. Now I have da beef! A real craftsman jack! Thank you wife!

I almost forgot a few things.
I modified my D35's cover to use a threaded cover in lieu of the crap rubber plug. Cost like $7. Has help up well so far.

Also a better pic of my valve cover paint job:

Also, about a month ago I had a sudden need for new tires. Luckily, we were planning on getting them soon anyways as these ones were... uhh... dying. Just old and worn. Unlucky and stupid: I seem to have waited to long. Luckily, all was controlled and ok.

Got the new tires! Warranty and all for like $400. Then, I got about $20 back PLUS Wal-Mart paid for my PROFESSIONAL balancing from FireStone that subsequently includes life-time balances.

Installed. Ol' Lady looks so much more stout!

And a good shot after our first good snow dump! And thank God I cleaned off that crap blue paint over the white lettering!

The Ol' Lady performed flawlessly in the snow. 4WD worked like a charm with the axle-disco eliminated and the new tires grab very nicely... even in the nasty mud at the end of one of the entrances to our apartment.
Much more will be coming after Christmas. There will be a gauge improvement and a few extras... you just have to wait and see!
