Default My First XJ project (Irish Cherokee)

hey all im new to the fourms i thought id put some pics up of my jeep i just got its got 192,000 miles but runs like new has hardly any rust it had a hole on the roof but i fixed it cant even tell that the hole was there but i hope you like it im planing on getting a 4.5 inch lift and roof rack for it and gonna attempt to build my own bumpers for it so ill put more pics up once i can get the money to it needs a little work but not much

well i desided to paint the trim and bumpers today im still desiding to paint the fenderflares or not so if you all could let me know what i should do that be great i was gonna paintem flat black to go with the rest of it but i cant deside and also i took the plastics off the front and found the horns and a ball i dono what it is if someone could tell me that be great i thought maybe for airbags or something but here is some pics of the painted bumpers and trim had little over spray problems lol

yeah it did thanks and just a update i changed the name of it to The Interceptor i think thats a cool name for it ill be puttin more pics up soon im getting paid tomorrow so im gonna get the ball joints fixed and buy some things for it

The vacuum ball controls your HVAC and cruise control if equipped. Good luck with your build.

well everyone i need help i desided to take off the rear plastics to see how bad the rust was and now i have a giant hole in my right side and my left side is completly filled with water im not happy about it i really dont know what jeep was thinking when they desided to put bags in the sides lol but i need help or advice what to do now cause i dont no what to do here is some pics


this is the one filled with water i drained most of it out but the metal is pretty rotted i dono what to do

fixed the holes that i had trouble with and got everything back togather now its time to get the ball joints fixed and u joints and itll be ready for the trails

hey all i figure id put some new pics up i been working alot on the jeep body work wise i just finished up for the most part but last night i made a bracket for a CB antenna wanted to see what you all thought of it i think it came out pretty good
