Nice build I just skimmed over the 16 pages, I enjoyed your welding skills, I'm 18 and don't have the ability to build a bumper yet

Thanks! I got lucky and picked up arc welding naturally after a few days of practice in my metal tech class, but I really learned a lot more after going over the 100+ joints on that roof rack

Agreed^

Some things on the to-do list for the upcoming months (probably not til May), but I like to plan and save and be prepared for stuff. I'm going to take care of my driveline and get an SYE and new driveshaft, some adjustable lca's, and a new exhaust manifold (I'm pretty sure mine is cracked). Probably going to be more of a summer of maintenance instead of heavy mods like last year. Any recommendations/advice is greatly appreciated

Huh... Don't know if it's against the rules to post this here or not, but I've got a new-in-box APN header I'm selling... I see you said you need a new exhaust manifold.

Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

If I remember correctly, the customer reviews, when I bought it said that it'll fit, you just have to grind down (or heat up and then slightly flatten) the tube around the #6 cylinder.

Not arguing with you, just telling you what I've read.

Yea but that's getting the 99+ manifold to work with the header. The exhaust is set up a lot different on 00-01's it got 2 precats and an entirely different header design

Hey thanks dude! My gas mileage has always been really poor, but I do mostly city driving. When I was stock I would get about 14mpg in the summer and around 10mpg in the winter (in Michigan the gas is worse quality in the winter to prevent freezing and what not). And now that I have the lift and everything, I actually get about the same. 13-15 in the summer and 10-12 in the winter. I'd really like to get that to something better though, so I'm troubleshooting potential issues

That's interesting. Anyway, I know what you mean with the winter gas. I'll get about 15-16 in summer and then 12-13 in the winter. (I also am pretty much all city)

yeah, it's a real pain sometimes. I also replaced all of my O2 sensors shortly after I did the lift, so I think that helped a bit too

I was going to do the same. I tried getting them loose before I bought the sensors, just in case, and let's just say it was good thing I did because those suckers are not coming off!
