so i ended up getting rough countrys 4.5 long arm lift!! yeah i know you guys like to hate on rc but im pretty confident they improved their **** so far im really happy with all the parts, installation willl start tomorow night! one thing that i was worried about what the crossmember, because on the older models the 4 bolts would stick out (if im right) but they fixed that

well a week has past by and ive only had about 4-5 hours to work on it plus im waiting for new bolts for the leafs in the back i knew i should of ordered them BEFORE i started the lift fml i would of reused the old bolts but i had to cut one and 2 are twisted abit

i miss driving my heep

about 20 hours into it, very lazy 20 hours
all thats left is alignment, rear shocks and to finish torching of the lower control arm drop brackets. Ill post some better pictures when its all finished

and the new rubber should be on next week!

Hi buddy love what your doing with your classic,iv got a 2000 like yours,those 245's do they have backspacing? if so how much? thanks id like to run them with my RC 3" lift...Also what did you use to take those side strips? was the paint marked underneath,my stock paints good so dont want to take them off and have to paint....many thanks

classics ftw!:P but yeah, stock backspacing but they do rub at full turn thats about it. For the side strips i just straight up ripped them out lol, but if you have a heat gun, heat the area first then take it off then just use goo gone to take off the stickiness thats left

allrighttt so alignement is done! took 3.5 hours and lotta money but its perfect!
took a test drive on the highway and had no vibes at 115km so i guess ill hold off my HnT sye for now
whats left if to finish cutting off the lower control arm brackets and find out whats knocking everytime i hit a bump

tires should be mounted by friday
