Nice Jeep - what size tires you running at the moment? They look good with the stock height - I have a black 2000 XJ Classic as well and looking for new treads.

With a 4.5" lift i believe you still have to trim the fenders to fit 33's, you may be able to get away with 32x11.5x15's with out trimming.

I have a Pro Comp 3" lift and a basic cut on the front fender with a light cut and fold on the rear, I was able to fit 33x8x15 under mine with slight rubs at hard turns with flex. So dont get to crazy cause you can do a lot with just some good prep work. Love the jeep so far I have the exact same rust spot and havent quite decided what I want to do, plus I am too busy wheeling my Goldie!

So now my new thermostat housing gasket is leaking.... replaced my driver side tie rod end. Turn out my u-joint is finished also so ill be replacing all of them since i have a vibration in the rear when i slow down also.
tried sanding all of the rust away but i was too scared to make a hole as i did in a corner
fixed the hole in my quarter panels using foam and fiberglass. Turned out pretty good for my first time

alright so small update, the lift will be pushed back yet again to this late spring or so. so from now till then ill be getting her ready and fixing every single square inch of this jeep!!
so, i replaced front u-joints, lower ball joints, tie rods, sway bar links( broke both of the old ones:P), sway bar bushings, new wheel cylinders, new diff fluid, put my winters on cause my km's were shot! one of the tires had like 1 liter of red smelling windex in it which was causing all sorts of vibrations!
weird differential color no?
anyways merry christmas peeps!
