Thanks. Just keep plugging away at it and it will get there. Mine still has along way to go I still have to get most of the supporting mods to hold up to the 35s. My floors are pretty bad and will need to be replaced pretty soon.
Axle shafts Gears and axle truss is coming next. I really need limiting straps up front before I loose a coil.

For the guys that have been watching my slow build. Today I went to the garage to do a little maintenance on the old xj and found a pretty good crack in the unibody just in front of the driver side leaf spring so the jeep will be put to bed. It could probably be repaired but with all the rust repair that needs to be done to make the jeep safe and road worthy again its just not worth it she is just to far gone.
This is not the end of my build I will find a clean xj to swap all my parts over to not sure how long that will take but I have already started looking.
The next xj will be getting frame stiffeners first.

Today I stopped my IRO on my way home from work. And ended up buying a clean dark green 98 xj for 1100 bucks floors are solid and unibody is solid rockers are also solid. Runs and drives great. I will be picking it up tomorrow. Then I need to find the time and some place warm to swap all the parts over.

Brought the new XJ home tonight. After a couple hours of work the rear dana 35 on its way out. Leaf spring bolts came out pretty easy for ounce.

Wait, you're swapping all your gear onto the new xj? But what about the two tone? Haha. Sounds like a total score for 1100 bucks. Nice build.

Got some more work done tonight.
New rear brake line, Pulled the bolts through the rear shock mount holes and got the rear end all bolted up. Now its time to start on the front.
Still have a long way to go.
And the garage is FULL.

Got a lot done today. The lift is in and fine tuned brakes are bleed and it stops 100% better than my 94 ever did. Have to cut the fenders tomorrow the 35s rub just pulling out of the driveway. Fixed a couple bad ground wires that seems to have fix my funky gauge issue. Took the side trim off still need to clean the glue up and put my front bumper on.

You had/have a great looking rig man! That stinks about the unibody crack, but its kinda sweet you got into a newer one out of the deal lol.

I thought the gold/black looked good, but green is my favorite color on Jeeps. I say, great work on two toning the new one

I dont know why more people arent chiming in on this awesome build/builds.

Sub'd for sure!
