No just the end caps are missing.

 

Thanks man. I found a new t-case last night its a 231 getting away from the 242 I just need the guy to call me back today fingers crossed.

Sorry to hear about those 242's going bad on you. Did the output shaft get bent again like the first one??

 

No the front output shaft bearing keeps going out. So im just done with the 242.

 

The guy showed up with the 231 tonight and 3hr later we are vibe free again. Still need to rewire the switch for the 4wd lights on the dash and find a 4wd shift indicator for the shift lever.

 

Picked up my stiffeners from iro tonight.

 

Let us know how the fitment is on those. I'll probably be getting some stiffies in the summer time so i'd like to hear how those go.

 

Will do. I have one mocked up right now and it fits like a glove. I'll have some pics tonight when I start to burn them in.

Most likely some rocker protection. I really need to up grade my steering.

 

Do you put anything between the stiffeners and the body to stop water getting trapped? Looks great.

 

I didn't use anything because I didn't want to miss a spot and then have water trapped in with no way out. When it gets a little warmer I might try to use some sort of automotive seam sealer around all the edges. The IRO stiffeners have all the factory holes in them to match the unibody so water should find its way out.

 

Picked up some JKS quicker disconnects today they are beefy but I have one problem with them. If you spend 160 dollars on disco's they should have a way to store them with out running a factory front skid plate and they don't include the nuts to mount the storage post to the factory skid.
