She performed well on the trail last Sunday, the relocation brackets allow for tons of droop. Down side is I experienced my first death wobble on the way to the trail. Back to the shop tommorow to check everything over and go over the math (you remember that geometry they were trying to teach you in school that you were never going to use? Yeah, guess what sucker), back to the proverbial drawing board.

At five inches of lift on arms meant for a 3 inch lift = a harsh *** ride. I'm thinking its time for something like this. A guy at work who I've thrown some favors offered to help me weld it up, the quest for parts is on!

Dunno how I missed this before, but nice work. The long arms will make a world of difference in handling. And front suspension work will be that much easier.
As much as I never really wanted to go over 3" in my current heep, I got the taller coils for free so cannot really complain, other than they are way stiff. It is a great feeling when you get your heep in the direction you want it. Mid or longarms is what I plan to do next.

Thanks guys! I've been busy the last couple days in my aquisition of more awesomeness! Made a deal over the weekend on some stainless extended brakelines to run and a set of RC 4.5 coils I've already made a deal to trade off for some 5-5.5 coils so I can lose the pucks. I've never been a big fan of the idea of pucks and now I've run them I'm sure I'm not a fan, too much noise going on upfront when I flex her out.
Ordered today- Bushwacker flat flairs. $355 from Bushwacker factory outlet with a rebate throught the end of June for $50 back. $305 for BW's is not a bad deal if you've ever priced them.
Tried to order today- 5 33-12.50-R15 BF Goodrich KM2's, Discount tire could only find one available in my area and dudes gotta get them coming
, I was really hoping to have the tires on by this weekend but thats looking sketchy.
Next steps will be a slipyoke eliminator, driveshaft and gathering all the parts for the new arms & crossmember. I'm hoping to have those in and tested out in time for Moab in October. Five months, man, that used to seem like a long time, not so much at the moment.

New shoes, waiting on the Bushwackers. I had to trim the lower fender sheetmetal & bend it back about 3/4" to stop them from rubbing when turning so no wheeling til the new flairs arrive and we can trim it up properly!

What do ya do huh, their back ordered across the board even through other sources so it is what it is.
I'll just work on other stuff in the mean time while I'm on my no wheeling diet.
I'll get the new coils in (as soon as I can get ahold of them), get the extended brake lines in (as soon as I can get a hold of them), get some parts together for the new front suspension and start working on where in the heck I'm gonna carry a 33" spare. Its not gonna fit in the back without making her a two seater, and I sure dont want it on the roof.
Much to do, much to do.
