Amen, it's time I lifted it out of the bay and did an overhaul. It just seems like too much for my shallow knowledge to handle

Absolutely. It's crazy how even the smallest things can make a big difference.

Thank you guys. It was a lot of painting, and cleaning but it was time well spent. Anybody can rebuild an engine, and clean it up like I did mine, it just takes a lot if patience, motivation, and interest to obtain the skills necessary to accomplish it it also costs a lot i might add... That aspect sucks. But its money well spent!

Anyway, it took me a lot of studying before I felt like I could tackle the task. The whole rebuild ended up being more like a college education in automotive mechanics haha. I learned so much throughout the whole process, and even though it got really frustrating at times, it was a lot of fun

I find that you can do anything if you got the right help. My problem is I gotta drive the damn thing everyday.

X3 ^^^ haha

At the time when I rebuilt my jeep I was fortunate enough to have another car to drive. But now my jeep is the only vehicle I have so I understand being hesitant about taking it apart.

Saucy ain't gonna cut it. You're gonna need to go out and shoot some bangers
Then change the name of this build thread to Rolling Butter

that'd be the best idea too, people mostly vote off photos now though, reading the specs on it has become obsolete.

I've been wanting to go out and take some pics for the entry but I haven't gotten around to doing it. If the weather was better I would go today or tomorrow. Now here's the thing! Im going to moab the 26-29 of this month. Should I wait and try for May COTM so I can have some awesome
Moab shots, or should I just go out on some local trails and get some and still shoot for April COTM?

Hey boss, by chance do you have a complete side view pic with your roof rack just to have an idea and picture a 60" long roof rack?
