K i need opinions ASAP!
I am getting ready to pull out my front axle and swap it for non vac disconnect hp d30 with matching gears to my rear axle. I'm painting everything, it's just how I roll obviously haha, and I need your guys's opinion on what color I should paint my steering linkage. I have a whole silver and black theme going on with my jeep. So should I paint the linkage black so it blends in, or should I paint it silver so it stands out? I'm painting my coil springs and sway bar silver, so what's your opinion on the steering linkage being silver as well? Thanks!

Got my new (to me) High Pinion Dana 30 w/o the vac disconnect all looking beautiful and ready to install! Also last year at a raffle a guy won some
Jeep axle tube seals, but he drives a samurai, so he gave the seals to me. Unfortunately they wouldn't work with my vac disconnect Dana 30, so I have just held on to them and now finally I'm
able to use them!
Tomorrow I'll be pulling the jeep in the garage to swap the axle in, and paint the front suspension components, and steering linkage. So hopefully by saturday I'll have my 4wd back so I can actually go have some real fun with the jeep!

Well... The death wobble is back, and worse then ever... The best part is it decided to come back 200 miles away from home... I prefer my jeep to be recovered by a winch on the trail, not a uhaul on the side of freeway. Thank you Milo for just making my day :/

that is one clean looking rigg great job man.
Looks bad azz!!!!
Bushwacker flat flares!!!
I have always loved the look of these flares. They have been on my wish list ever since they came out, now finally i have a set on my jeep and i couldn't be more thrilled with them!
Installation wasn't that bad. I took my time, and followed the instructions (which are excellent by the way). All said and done it took about 4 hours. I also busted three cut off wheels, and two 7/64 drill bits haha.
The overall quality and strength of the flares is quite impressive. The tire coverage is excellent as well. I have 32x11.50's with 3.5 inches of backspacing and the tires are perfectly covered by the flare, in fact there is enough flare to still cover a 33x12.50... just in case your wondering and live in a state thats **** about fender coverage haha. The wheel wells also opened up a lot, which will be awesome out on the trails considering my tires use to rub pretty bad on the front of my stock flares.
Anyway here are a few pics, let me know what you think!
Install:
Flareless! haha. Notice how the P.O. was too cheap to remove the flares when the jeep was painted white. :thumb down:
Finished:

i did to my cherokee , i live in dominican republic and a gallon here is 6 us, and having a 6l engine isnt quite cheap , most people just put LPG on them but i really didnt love the idea so decided to swap the engine, im using a mitsubishi 4D56 2.5l TDI , it was the only one that the front driveshaft came on same side as the jeep ...

its great what you can accomplish with less than half of the 6l engine but at first you need to get used to because diesel is a lot slower so i used to step on the gas to try to run as a gasoline engine and all i did was spend more fuel and the jeep in the same place so i learned to let it gain speed slowly and then i re geared to 4.11 ratio , now im trying to get the 4.88 so i can get more power when climbing hills but after all its great , no sensors to damage , no fear for water , diesel engines are almost indestructible , once they turn on they are hard to turn off , really nice for tough vehicles...
and by the way i love your ride!!
