I painted it around 10 months ago, and I used rustolium truck bed coating. It's fantastic stuff. It hasn't faded or anything, and it cleans surprisingly easy. I'm very happy with the way it came out. The key is patience. Take your time with the prep work. And when it comes time to spray, do thin coats separated by 5-10 minute intervals. I went through 2 or 3 cans per side and it took me almost 2 hours because I did lots of thin coats and Waited for each coat to dry. The result is a even and durable finish! A lot of people have been really surprised that it's just a rattle can paint job. But if your patient, a rattle can Job can look professional! Good luck!

Thanks! I appreciate it. It took a lot of work to make it the way it is.... Still trying to decide if it was worth all those hours. Haha

Weld it, mine broke 7 years ago and i welded it----not a bit of trouble since. I thought about getting a salvage yard part , but i figured i'd end up with it breaking again.
Mine broke on the pedal side, so look close at the entire piece if you choose to fix it!

Thanks, I think thats what I'm going to do! I just got the petal pulled out today. It looks like it wouldn't be that hard to weld.

From the looks of how the clutch petal broke, it seems that one side broke, and then it bent the other side, and then finally completely busted off.

I could have welded it, but I have a really good friend that lives by a pick a part that has over 30 Cherokees. So he pulled a clutch petal, and the cruise control switch with the bracket... And some other good stuff but I'll get to that later . He then sent it with some family that live here so it worked out perfect!

I was able to get it installed last night, and finally I have my jeep back... Again. Haha

Oh and P.S. If your clutch petal fails at life and you have the need to take it out, just take out the long center bolt. Some people pull out the whole bracket and that would take forever. I just pulled the center bolt and my clutch petal was out in 2 minutes!

Fix: Relocation of Vac Canister

When I installed my cruise control I unplugged the vac line for the vents, and In its place plugged in the cruise control. So i got the bigger two sided vacuum tank from a xj with cruise, and relocated it under the coolant reservoir. Now I'm one step ahead if I ever get a aftermarket front bumper Also It will be nice driving to work tomorrow and having heat blow on me rather then at the windshield haha

They guy had a 10,000lb warn winch and it kept tripping the breaker! Yeah they were stuck pretty bad. Did the Cherokee get stuck? Of course not haha

So I've seen your jeep a few times on river road during my runs. Your jeep makes me wish I still had mine.

Hey man. I'm sorry to hear about your jeep. It was by far one of my favorite Cherokees hands down. You did a great job with her.

Thanks! It's seems like its hard to find a 2 door Cherokee that is in decent condition these days here in Utah, especially those of the renix era haha.

Upgrade: Ion Alloy 174 Wheels!

Got the new rims installed! Let me know what you think!

The bushwacker flares should be here Friday, so once I get those installed I'll post up some more pics.
