I bother him and Dave every so often and just recently asked him if he'd send me the drawing (he said he would a while back). I'm not gonna post it here once I get it as that's for them to do and I want to be respectful. However, if you want to pass me your email address I'll send it your way once I receive it.

Spent 3 hours yesterday winching, pulling and recovering my buddies blazer off the side of a mountain. Its been raining the past few days, he went offroading in the mud, lost 4wd and slid off the side of an off camber dirt road.

My other buddy with the tan XJ has a winch luckily. It was extremely muddy and off camber, wound up winching around 30 different times, multiple ****** blocks, etc. What a pain in the a$$.

Only pic i have is of the aftermath before I pressure washed it.

I am planning on pulling the Jeep in the garage this coming weekend and getting started on teardown.

Have 90% of all the suspension, my steering just shipped out today. Only thing im waiting on is the 3 link and need to measure for rear shackles.

The weather is cold and crappy so I might as well take the xj out of commission for a few weeks. Next time it comes out of the garage it will be ready for a shakedown run.

Good luck, man...I know how much it sucks not having your wheels, as mine has been down, more than up, in the last 2 years...take it offline and get it done!

Front locker for mine is here, next one on Thursday, but can't install this weekend due to work, then we have the holidays, but I may just spend that time wrenching to have it DONE....but, as long as it's done for KOH, Ill be a happy camper, LOL

This past weekend in the mud was motivation enough to get things going. I have a lot of work to do before I can even install the 3 link. (front stiffeners, axle side LCA brackets, steering box brace, ball joints, drilling out the knuckles, etc)

Plus two of my offloading buddies have their rigs torn apart so I don't have many people to wheel with at the moment. Makes now is as good a time as any.

I bet you're excited to see how your rig does locked, ill definitely be following your thread and seeing how you like those Spartans. Still up in the air about what lockers ill be going with.

As of tonight the Jeep is officially going in to hibernation.

Over the next month or so it will be torn down, full suspension install, steering, finish burning in the frame stiffeners, some maintenance items, etc.

I will be taking photos of the progress and documenting everything. First up is getting the front axle pulled to replace ball joints, weld on LCA brackets, clean, repaint, etc.

Stay Tuned!!
