No lie. I really cant wait to get that re arranged. I am starting to re think this build a little bit though I don't think this Cherokee will work for what I am trying to accomplish. The Trans setup is not as common as the later style and I need a 92 or later XJ to set up my Long arm kit. I intend on making my long arm with the trans mount integrated with a poly mount. I'm not sure what I am going to do I will keep making parts for the build and posting them but I may have to try and find another XJ.

well I suppose muddin in a cornfield could be fun. Its where I learned to drive in upstate NY in an 88 MJ 4 speed when I was 13. You always come home a little more smelly than you would think because of the fertilizer heh

Default Superman Joints

SO I have been working my tail off and this thing has gone back burner for a while. Our sales have taken off and we are swamped over here. We are working on getting all of our parts CNC machined instead of me making every little peice all day and night long. Im tired... Any way I have been toying with the Idea of johnny joints holding long arms in place and how the entire front axle ends up being held by 2 .200" thick steel shells that house the joint... me no likey. Thus the introduction of the SUPERMAN JOINTS! I still use all Currie internals because nobody makes those parts tougher.
I just make my own outer shells.... Out of 1/2" wall tubing!!!! These will be the joints for my radius arms now on the 2 door. Here is a few teaser pics of my joint housing next to the standard johnny joint.

Ill post up a finished part here shortly when I get both sides made.

Thumbs down MJ distraction

I thought I would Share Some pics of the MJ that I built in trade for this 2 door. I just now finished the suspension and steering. Who knows maybe there are a few Ideas folks can use
Enjoy

sittin way too tall this beast has 11 inches of lift. Not my preference but its not my truck I just made it drivable
long arms with my super joints

Heres the cross member set up. Its kinda low to counter act the lift.
This whole job was done spending less than 200.00
