This is a variation of the over the knuckle setup I would like to produce.
It is way too labor intensive though.

more detail of the steering setup and the beefed up and raised track bar mount this mount is made from 1.25 solid and bolts as well as welds to the factory track bar location and the center axle tube.
All rod ends are at least 3/4 ton

More steering heh.

This shows the drive shaft fully protected by the 2" x .281 wall DOM arms with 1.5 monster joints

This shows the jungle of un hooked brake lines and long posi lock lines. way short shocks and other goobery fun that is left for my buddy to sort out.
I just do his fab work for him and let him enjoy the rest.

Holy crap I had to use two buckets for all this drool.
I really wish you were closer so I could hand over my rig and you could make it all pretty........and of course, STRONG!
Great work man!
I'm really digging your long arms.

The pinion angle is like that so that the castor is correct.
The truck drives 75 mph smooth as an arrow with 0 bumpster. Also notice no steering dampener or sway bars.
I drove it 5 hours of mountain road and interstate today to deliver it.
It was a pleasant ride.... other than the thorney turds.... Ugh I hate those tires.

HEH! I used to do that all the time to try different springs on my old XJ. I would back up a hill swap the spring, drive forward and take it for a spin. I still like the rusty's 8.5 springs the best anyday!

So I have neglected the actual build on my 2 door long enough. starting tomorrow I'm going to try and at least spend an hour a day on this puppy so that it will have something worth following. I'm taking my camera back the shop and filling this post up with lots o goodies.
