Still having issues with my phone so no photos sorry guys! I got a spare phone I can try that today.
A lot of work done over the weekend though:
Parts Jeep stripped down and the only thing really left on it is the rock sliders which I'm not getting because they are welded on and instead of cutting them off my buddy who is going to pickup the Jeep this week is bringing me a set
So front bumper off parts jeep and installed on mine Still have to mount my XRC 9500# winch on it and wire it up.
Rear tire carrier bumper removed on parts jeep and listed it online for $400 too bad some of you guys locally here don't want it?
CB removed and antenna and installed on my Jeep and works great! Will find a more permanent mount of the base unit but it works for now mounted on my lower dash area. Since I didn't have a stereo in the Jeep I just tapped into the power wire for the radio.
Fixed my rear brake lights, turned out to be a coroded switch and blown fuse
Snorkel removed from Parts jeep and sold
Headliner removed and sold (To a member here and he knows who is!) Nice to meet you and look forward to hooking up once you get your Jeep going.
My original front bumper removed after new one put on and sold that this weekend.
Once I sell off the white the Jeep I will have nearly my money back and all these good parts so I'm happy.
Hope everyone else had a good weekend.
*Oh and my Diesel is acting up so I got to drive the Jeep to work this week* Stoked!

Tire carrier and bumper. ??
How did I miss that ? If you still have it, send me a pic ??
Man... I have noticed you are terrain deprived. I haven't seen you park that on a real rock yet. lol
That's because I have not been free to trailer it to a trail. Plus it was down for work until recently. I just got the brake lights fixed so some guys local are asking about going to a trail about twenty mins from my house Sunday so I probably going to go. If I get some good shots I'll post them up.
Trust me I have been trying to find a good rock to flex it and now that I can legally drive it without a tow I might have better luck

Just ribbing a bit. I kinda figured you were limited. I have been keeping an eye out to finally see that on a real rock. Lol

Oh don't you worry I will get some photos up soon! I got a little surprise for everyone soon too but not revealing just yet Keep you all in suspense but your going to be mad at me lol.
Alright I figured I would just reveal the surprise not that any of you even cared lol
And after you see this photo below I'm sure most of you will still not care ha ha!
It's okay the Cherokee is not leaving I have not even wheeled it yet. Still planning on my Oregon trip in two weeks and more trails to come. Everything I have has a price but sometimes even though it does I put a price tag higher than someone will pay hoping it never sells. That's my thought process but before you all get upset too quickly I have no plans to sell my 89! Hey at least this one is green to match my name finally but enough of this Jeep here becuase it is not the appropriate forum for this one
If you want to know more about it I will share information but I will keep to the XJ life as much as possible I need to actually get my armor on this weekend I hope and the winch!
These wheels are enormous though I was thinking, I wonder if the bolt pattern is the same as the XJ I could just put these on that and run the 33's on the Wrangler lol
Well.... I like the color. The wheels, not so much. Congrats though. As long as it is what you wanted, thats all that matters.
I agree with you the tires are great but the wheels are too large! Way too much weight for the gearing on this Jeep. I'm thinking I will not have a hard time finding a wheel tire shop who will let me swap for even. At least that is my plan. I just need to figure out what size wheel would be appropriate because it is a Jeep and although it looks pretty it is not going to just be a pavement princess. Certainly will not go places my XJ will go because that is why I built that one to play and beat up if needed. However; if I feel like going off-road one day I know I can with peace of mind and the right combo!
The Diesel truck is great but it is getting to the point of not really necessary to daily it and well it is in need of some work so this came home to help with that.
She's a pretty one that's for sure. If I could afford a 2dr base model jk I would buy one in a heart beat. Maybe one day. Congrats and I would still love to see mods done posted up in here!

Well I was no where in mind thinking I would have bought one. I have always wanted a 2 door but I was in the same boat. They were always out of my price range even for one that needed work. Once my Diesel started to act up even though it is not out commission because I will fix it. I also needed to have a reliable vehicle to get to work. So I went against what I thought I wouldn't do and started to look around. Honestly I have been looking since like 10 years ago but just never right time.
If you approve and everyone else here don't mind I will update upgrades here. I know it is my XJ build but I don't mind I just don't want to break any rules here. I could always create a build thread on another forum and link it but we will see. Hard to keep up with one let alone another. Plus I won't be doing much to this one any time too soon except downsize on the wheels. Hopefully that happens this weekend.
I don't know if I did mention it maybe I did but it is a 2010 67k miles 6 spd manual so it is used but in great shape! Price was just about what the going rate was anywhere and not just my location.
