I'll check out the switch. The only switch I could find near brake pedal was one that had four wire plugs going into it.

I looked at fuse box didn't see a fuse just for brake lights.

I'll also investigate this turn signal column wiring thanks for that information.

Took the jeep in got it aligned this morning. Its not spot on by any means and the guy knew I wasn't going to be driving it much on the street. So it didn't make any sense to go spending tons of time dialing it in and without some new ball joints. He did manage to get most of it where it needs to be though. Handled good on the road and I even managed to go to my local flex spot and take some photos.

Woohoo no more popping the TC holds up well so my rebuild so far is a total success. Although it may not be hard to do I'm stoked to know I did this on my own. One more check in the box as I would have normally never undertook such job. A few of you here and you know who you are told me to go for it the job isn't hard to do. I can just imagine the labor cost to have a shop do it if I went that route. She is now ready for Oregon trails next month I'll just continue to troubleshoot my brake lights. Looks like my instruments not working either now like gas gauge, battery, coolant temp, etc. Speedometer and I think oil pressure are. I think I have a ghost running around daily on this jeep keeping me guessing.

Hey everyone so looks like I'll have a parts jeep in my driveway come Friday .

Lots of goodies on this Jeep so I'm super stoked to take what I need of it and sell the rest hoping to basically break even but get front bumper, sliders, light bar maybe, and body armor. The rear tire carrier I'm selling lol we all know I have one and don't need. Funny thing I'll probably be selling it for almost my money back. Then I'll probably sell the jeep with my current front bumper and old rear bumper on it so maybe someone give me $400-$500 for jeep. It runs and will drive but owner says it needs axle shaft on passenger front. Assuming its all intact just something wrong with it. It was his wheeler but guess he gave up on it. He is also going to deliver it to me .Score!

Don't worry I'm not keeping it, was a sweet deal and I'm getting it just for the above parts then off she goes.

Hmm looks like a pretty nice haul. I can see you using almost everything off that jeep.

I agree the only major part I won't use is rear bumper which I'll sell off and make almost my money back. The jeep itself will sell too so that will help.

The market out here is flooded with Cherokees and parts you just have to be quick and jump on them. Local 4x4 shop snags them quick and parts them out all the time. Same place I got my brake lines from. Good business for them if you have the space to do it which they obviously do.

I could use a headliner but I'm probably not going to take it for me. So everything has a price and able to be sold. I will let you know when I get the Jeep the condition it is in. The owner stopped responding to me as of late last night so I will have to hit him up today. He said he would get a hold of my Friday which is the day he is going to deliver it to me. I'm hoping honestly the seats are in great shape I will be taking the front seats most likely. I kind of want to try to sell the jeep though after I take what I need from it in hopes someone will pay $400 or so for it. I could part it out and make more than that back but I don't have the space to tear it down. I would have to put it on my trailer and then let everyone just strip it.

Headliner though I will let you know your about as local as you can be so we will work something out.

He didn't respond with interior yet but he did say it has a 3" rubicon express lift in it with 32's. So if you want that too let me know. If I decide not to do anything with the interior and you want the entire Jeep for parts I will be more than happy to load it on my trailer when done and you can have it for a decent price. Then you can take what is left of it. I honestly wouldn't mind the coolant system from it but again if I start tearing certain things down it may not sell for what I want for it. I'm at least going to try to break even on this once I get the parts I need.

Well that was pretty easy! Everyone is going to win on this new parts Jeep. Hopefully the headliner is in there and then Ozalid is going to get that and a couple other things, my buddy up North and his guys are taking the Jeep whole once I'm done with it for the price I wanted to let it go for. The rear tire carrier bumper is I believe spoken for so I'm going to make almost my money back and still get all the parts I wanted

If only I could go into the buisness of this lol kiddng my wife would kill me. At least this way I can say to my wife, don't worry its not sticking around long just taking what I need and its gone.

Well parts jeep pulled up last night and I don't have photos yet my son and I already started dissecting it . I put my battery in it runs good. Few things I like about it but I'm taking parts I need and then off she goes to the next owner who is going build her back up.

I might even see it on the trails with us next month.

So far I got antenna for CB off it which it also came with a nice CB with weather ability. Same one I have been wanting. I got high lift jack off rear bumper and it mounts on bumper the same

I will be taking front bumper off for my winch that comes in Friday. Then we started on body armor removal couple bolts giving us trouble but I'll get them off.

Light bar will probably be mine as well and a few other things.

Sliders are welded on so I'm not going to bother plus good friend who I will be seeing jeep off to is going to give me his in exchange

Photos later but off to get surgery done this morning. Bye for now and more to come.

Oh and I got a XRC 9,500# winch with synthetic rope ordered so that's going to look sweet!

Not a lot done today been having issues with my Diesel had to get a tow home yesterday lol. Stupid thing wouldn't start but think I got it sorted out so between that and my surgery I managed to get my rear quarter panel armor off parts jeep!

I actually freshly painted them but this photo was right after I washed them. Suckers were on that jeep good too quite a few bolts wouldn't not come off even though they looked good not rusty they were stuck. I had to grind a few off which nicked the armor slightly but nothing serious.
