You had a lot more to go on that! I think you are going to be surprised how much it really will do when you get into some serious stuff!
Oh yea I was just toying around lol. I did discover though my 4wd when in fulltime its make a pretty bad noise. Almost sounds like a bind but not sure. Seems to engage and climb fine engaged but I don't like the sound. 2wd those tires were just spinning in rear just trying to climb that cement pipe.
Think the toy XJ flexes better? . Those that don't have one you should they are super fun but trust me when I say this its fully upgradable but the level of detail it goes into upgrading its like the real deal. All the way down to license brand parts and such. Axles, shocks, tires, etc. Its crazy!

Uh oh, that doesn't sound good. Hopefully you can figure it out before it does some damage?

Yea me too I'm going to remove differential covers and see what comes of those with fresh oil. Not sure if that is it might be shafts or transfer case but I'll check. Next time I go out I'll have my son with my engage 4wd and slowly move forward while I can investigate noise from outside.
Posted a post earlier asking about some seats if they would fit but turns out seller sold them like 10 minutes after I asked. Oh well no worries. Happy Jeepin everyone

Ordered up my rear hatch seal, found it on ebay for a little cheaper than most places but it is still the high quality found on quadratec and morris 4x4. I saved maybe $5 but still that is $5 in my pocket still. I will use that $5 to buy the sealant to apply to it before install. Should be here in a couple weeks and hopefully that will fix if not all but most my rear area leaks. I still have some minor holes on roof but that is going to be fixed with the OEM roof rails installed back on however or when I can get to that project. Then the roof is going to be bedlinered ontop but wiht UV protection.

Honestly more than I wanted to pay but it is what it is. In fact, I say that but it is awesome because the RC is fully upgradable all the way down to the gears or bearings inside the axles. Shocks can be rebuilt and you can make it more scale like meaning make everything on this look as realistic as you can with all the accessory addons. That is outside looks, interior, etc.
They sell this rig in two different variations, you have the choice for a kit version which allows you to build it from the ground up. A little more than I wanted in my first time having one so I opted for the RTR ready to run version. What this means though is mine was built to a certain level but I can still customize the outside and inside and upgrade parts.
The Kit version does not come with radio controller, radio receiver, battery, motor, or even the SERVO for steering. The price for the kit is $329 so by the time you buy all the upgradable parts I figured I would be way over what I wanted right away.
Perhaps not but with the RTR you only need to purchase a battery and charger. That alone cost me nearly a extra $100 so I would say I'm about $480 into it. Yea that is pricey and I could have bought more parts for the real jeep but hobbies will be hobbies. The RTR version like mine without battery or charger is $389.
Not to mention mine is ready to play with now and I don't even need to upgrade any parts but if wanted to I could. Some things I will do in the near future is add some weight on the axles. They offer aluminum parts for just about anything and if you add the weight down low it will help keep it planted while crawling. So right now I can flex it damn near to the point of sideways but it is top heavy so a slight bump it will tip. I have all ready rolled it down a hill but its so durable it bounced back up and kept going. Sure it will take some road rash just like the real thing but its strong. It has 4x4 and you can lock out the axles so it is like having a locker on your real jeep. Like I said I can go in to detail this thing is super cool! I will get some good photos to share soon. Sorry for the long explanation just for asking about the price lol.

Well I feel accomplished. Wife decided she wanted to downsize a lot of stuff around the house. Turns out while doing so I made enough room to bring jeep inside. Not yet but later this week, this will keep it dry until I get all water leaks figured out. In meantime I'm putting tires on hold because I found a good deal today for a 4.5" long arm suspension kit used. Comes with IRO track bar and bracket, coils, long arm control arms, jks quick disconnects and shocks. I figured long arms alone were enough for me to say hold on tires and I'll get this kit. I had some stuff already but I really wanted long arms and since they are used but good price for everything I'll get it all. Stoked because going long arms is better in the long run.
I also cut and folded my front fenders still got some tweaking to do with the brackets up front but much better and will be ready for that kit and new tires when I flex.
Kevin you also reminded me that my rubber door boot was still off on passenger side so I reinstalled that today
