Ok. Finally got tires and what a bargain. Michelin mtz. Used but with 99% tread left 40$ a tire. I'm thrilled. Long lasting and honestly not that bad on dirt and mud. And omg finally got a/c. And it is great. No more sweat down my @$$ crack. But. I've got a new problem. The muffler rusted right apart at the cat. And. The alternator is going. Ugh. One thing after another. But. It's getting better and better. Can't wait to go trail riding. Anyone near Wichita know where I can go?

Ok. If anyone is familiar with Kansas or even better the rural Wichita and sedgick county area you know. If it's not a state or busy road.....it's dirt. Anyway. Took the long way home this morning from quiktrip and oh man what a blast. If you have been reading this thread you know I'm building not only and everyday driver but a dirt monster. More rally than mud or rock crawling. Anyway. The road I took is great. Nice turns banked at that and great hard dirt with loose gravel on top. Perfect for a rally race or a guy and his similar supped up jeep. Since my speedometer only says 85 we will be conservative and say I was doing......85. Nice driving. Not bumpy. This road has a double seccain (parden the spelling). Starts with a great left hand turn. By the end of the first set your taking these things sideways. Awesome drift driving. Probably one of the best drives I had or been able to have with this thing yet. I wish we just had some nice hilly dirt trails around here. So flat. But the rural roads will have to do till I can find a dry creak bed somewhere close. Anyway. Enough of my rant. Back to being super daddy. Happy trails y'all !!!

Talking

Alright. The damn thing left me stuck at a gas station. Not starting clicking nothing. Finally got it home and diagnosed the problem. Starter and battery. Once again o rielys come thru with flying colors. Got a drycell ultima battery and a starter for 150$. And now. One again. The green lantern flys thru the mud and dirt with the greatest of ease. Able to leap tall grass in a single press of the gas peddle. Faster than most other cars on the dirt road cause I have 4x4. Lol. Happy trails

Cool

Whew. It's Been a while since I've been on. Not really much has changed. Fixed my radiator leak with a new radiator. New new. For 68 bucks. Plus I needed a thermostat. New problems though. Rear brake lines are needed as I have no none zero zilch for rear brakes thanks to a busted line. Other than that. I guess that's it. For now....... Happy trails

Once again. Long time no post. Nothing new really seeing as the sub freezing temps here won't let you stay out side for very long to get any needed work done. I need some ideas for a cat back exhaust. Also. Bushings bushings bushings. All need replaced as I can feel my frame and suspension shift as I turn. Other than that. I'm out. Night yall

Ok. Winter here is in full effect and when my jeep starts (see tech thread starting problems). It loves the snow. Had a little problem the other day though. After doing a power slide in 4 wheel drive on the ice. My steering wheel stays left turned about 1/8th of a turn. Wheels are straight and there is no uneven marking on the tires. What's the deal??
