Man, you need to throw that body in the trash and start over.

I'm SO glad I don't have to deal with that kind of rust.

I have a body in the back yard that you can HAVE if you come get it. It even runs!

There is A LOT of rust on that shell. I would definitely considering finding something cleaner for a build like this, unless you plan on reinstalling the entire floor of the vehicle with something stronger and sealing it.

no hes just kidding, lol...im taking it tomorrow to get welded back up and get rebuilt and ready to drop in, luckily im doing all this at my old job and was able to get all the work done by my old boss for about 200$...given i will be working on it too, this way i get to learn at the same time, and i get my axles ready to drop in for dirt cheapo, lol

but back to the slow moving project, lol....i been very lazy and just go work at it whenever i got free time AND motivation, lol...

so far the front floors are lifted off the frame, or most of them...getting ready to do some of the frame beefing...in some thick *** plate....thickest i can get on there...lol..i dont want this thing budging, lol..was thinking of going with 3/8th, but i though it migh be a hella lot easier in 1/4"

you read my mind, lol....in the end the only thing jeep on here will be the cherokee carcass, lol...thats my goal...strip her down to just the shell, build it like new but 100 times stronger, and put some 40"-44"tires...so in the end it should be a whole custom built truck...

the only thing im really undecided on is the engine...i want enough power to be able to do burnouts in 40's, lol not that i plan on doing it, but i like to have that kind of power with this monster...so i been looking at different engines and possible swaps and im really unsure of what i need to look for to get this kind of power ..... and then comes degree of difficulty to install...and price, lol...i seriously been looking at turn key engines and drivetrain.....but im just not sure i want to drop 10k on it if i can get the same result for cheaper...im open to all and any suggestions...but just remember not all engines are easy to find
