ya i nknow i had to remove the coil mounts from the top of the inner C

well i guess my first step is to get me these axles in shape then, take em appart and put en back together...then i guess get me some tires so i can roll em under the truck...

but even then i got alot of bodywork to do before i drop these in, so maybe im jumping the gun a bit, lol...but i like to learn and like to plan ahead, lol

my biggest issue for dropping these in were the control arms...just really not knowing what to do

and when you shop those factory control arm mounts off, where are your control arm mounts gonna go?

how much separation is between the bushings?

Crossmember like all the rest... Forget how long mine are now... Lol... Between upper and lower mounts on the axle are suppose to be 8in roughly and the stock ones already are... With y link its a little easier to build if uppers and lowers are adjustable... Uppers need to be 70% to 80% length of the lowers... Only "problem" ive ran into is where the upper mount meets the lower is directly under the "frame" so I have no up travel with 4.5in of lift... I have a cure for that though... Called cutting the frame out the way and C channeling with solid steel... The upper arms will fit up inside the C and allow my up travel... Im going for low cog and I dont want more lift or lower mounts to get the arms away... Ill load pics later...

i mean on the axle , not frameside.

with a y link it doesnt really matter how much separation you have or length anyway, of course the longer they are in theory the stronger they will be.just don't inboard the uppers too much.

and dont pay attention to my cross member... was using scrap metal i have left in order to stay "Frugal" so its ugly but i think the clayton crossmember is basically the same measurements i ended up with or at least enough i can make it work so ill buy that soon as i break this one... which could be in my gravel driveway

ruffstuff heims as well and i lovem for the price... also his trac bar kit... and all the arms and trac bar are 1.50 DOM with 1/4 thick which makes outside diameter 2in...

and i cant find a pic of how close the upper is now... so ill have to take another one for ya man...

hope this helps alot!

Two lowers and one top on the pass side going to the lower right now... If I feel ita weak or something I can add the other link on the drivers side... Or if I bust anything on the upper on the right then I can use the other on the left for awhile... Ill have the brackets pre welded on... Hardware installed and upper link adjusted to the proper length already... I plan to break something... Something I did isnt going to hold im sure... Lol...

Naw its actually off a jeep the same guy is parting out on pirate... Hes already built another... Trashed it... And ready to build another since I got the red one from him... Lol
