I would use a plasma cutter or oxy-ace torch to cut off as much as you can. After that it's cutoff wheels and grinding wheels and a lot of hard work.

well here are the axles...super dana 60 front, and a 10.5 in the rear....(from a ford f-450)

paid 800 for the set....i gotta admit i was not expecting these to be so heavy...i was also suprised i made it home without the trailor snapping the axle or loosing a tire..it wasnt made for this much load, and it was a 2 hr drive there and 2 hr drive back....

i already know im gonna have problems getting these out the trailor, the guy used a forklift to put them in...all i got is mu 2 hands, and a friend to help...is it possible to lift these with 2 ppl? or do i need to rent out something to lift them out...?(dont wanna hurt myself or break anything)

so i got them out the trailor and in the garage, they are on jack stands for now while i work them a bit...

so far ive removed all the extra garbage from the rear 10.5, and am now looking at the front, my main issue im seeing is the brackets, im not sure what to do, this is a front hp super d60 that was using coils and struts....

now im not sure if i need to remove the old coil perches or if i can leave them and use them in my new setup....what do you guys think? ill get some pics up in not too long

Chances are you going to need to remove them but quickest way to find out is break out the ruler and you can have your answer really quick. those are some sexy axles.

well heres the new axles on jack stands, took off all the big crap, still need to cut off the stuff i dont need,

funny thing, after measuring where my coil springs would go, they would end up landing right on top of the existing controle arm, right where the square top thing is...so im thinking of only cutting off what i dont needand keeping the square tops

Very easy axle to swap in... Dont cut all that junk off... Screw that... Lol... And they should be from a f350... F450 is 10 lug and even wider then a f350's...

ya when i seen in your sig, d60 + 10.5 i was like --- yay finally someone with same setup i can learn from--- lol

i had also measured between the xj d30 coil perches and it was 36" i think, and it happened to come exactly where you put yours, but one thing i see in your pic

is it looks as if your coils are crooked...like if the mount on the axle is not wide enough

Naw... Probly the pic... the plates on the axle are actually shifted slightly over... To get the same measurement... It could be right in the middle and its not gonna hurt anything... Of the axles slightly wider at the "buckets" itll be fine... When u flex they will actually straighten out... And not flexed itll ride all the same... But mine are straight... The drivers side Im actually gonna make better... I welded the plate to the top of the cast... I think itll be fine since its just coik weight pushing down on it and not really jerking it anywhere or pulling on it... But I decided to pull the coil back out and im going to drill a hole down the middle... Through the plate and at least an inch into the cast... Tap it and stick a bolt in it... Ill know for sure its good then... Pass side is steel so welds will be fine... Also mine have 3.73's and I understand that to be the most common... U should have a tag still saying which u have...
