My original steering is already off. Only took 20 mins with the right tools. I have all the drill bits and I'll use my drill press or big Bertha in combo with my Vice. The key is slow and steady with constant oil on the surface. It'll take about 3-4 hours between removal, drilling, sanding prepping and painting. Then installation.

Are there any aftermarket roof rails available? I removed mine years ago when it was sitting in the garage. So now I have all the holes on the roof but no bolts or rails.

Finally did the rear disc swap. Just need to bleed the system. I fell much more safe knowing I have that better stopping power.

Dang I wish I was closer, I'm about to install a roof rack and I would just give you my factory roof rack.

Nice job on the brakes! I want to do that as well. Are you gonna put in a ZJ proportioning valve as well?

I will be going to that valve but forgot to grab it at the JY today. I'm also upgrading to the ZJ sway bar to help reduce body roll. The brakes look great and need some adjusting and to be bleed. I'll let you know how I like it with the stock valve. I'm just happy that I replaced all the front hard lines, and the sensor. I need to pick up the flaring tool for a new 3/16 not and some mini u bolts to do the the e brakes. The adjust the e-brake pads. It's coming along. This weekend I'm going to making leaps and bounds for progress. The goal right now is to have her driving on the road by next weekend. Just waiting on my customs driveshaft to come in!!!

I will, I'm still getting out of bed. Had a wild night with some veteran buddies of mine. So the plan for today is to rent a flaring tool to finishing the rear brakes. Attach e brake lines. Close diff cover and let RTV set for 24 hours. Trimming along with cut and fold. Front brakes, bench bleeding MC. Then we shall see how much time I have left in the day.

Got all the brakes hooked up, still need to bench bleed my MC. I ran my CAI into the cab behind the glove box. The most surprising thing thus far was adding the dump pipe. It actually quieted down my exhaust and required me to reset the PCM memory. I'll be bleeding the whole brake system tomorrow along with training all the fenders. Still no word on my driveshaft which has me up in a roar.

You got one of those too? Lol. I got an 8 acre farm I use 2 acres as mudhole, one spot for a small rock garden and also a private shooting range for my M16A4 & M4.

Yeah of course, it's a multipurpose dirt hill. I live on 8 Acres but it's just property nothing but trees. The dirt mount is on 12 acres with a house, barn, shop, and where my jeep i currently.
