I've been cracking jokes all day about how I've "lost" my marbles

Dang, you are going all out on that thing. That is going to be awesome!

Let me know how those KJ brakes work out, I'm tossing that idea around as well.

They are a direct swap since KJs came with a C8.25. Hopefully will have brakes, fender trimming, along with cut&fold done by next weekend

Can you get the caliper brackets from the parts store or do you have to get them from the junk yard for the kj swap ?

You need the backing plates to mount the calipers'. I'm going to grab the backing plates, calipers, and E-brake lines from the JY

lol... were they this color:

Sorry, man I couldn't resist. I couldn't get over how ironic it was that you hung nuts on your jeep and then had to go to the hospital for.... well, your hanging nuts.

Glad to hear your better enough to crack jokes about it though. Sounds like something I NEVER wanna go through.

The affected ******** was black and blue, now back to normal color. They said 2-4 weeks no activity. So... My good ole jeep is taking a back seat until at least mid April. Now that only benefit to this ordeal is that I can save some money and get other parts together. I'm going to order 1 ton steering soon, along with other assorted parts that I need. I'm going to see if I'm up to grabbing the brake part materials from the junkyard.

I'm just ready to drive her again. Been way too long since I've actually had it move under it's own power.

So went to AA and picked up some hard brake line. Bent my new lines and they look good. I'll get better pics tomorrow since the sky opened up on me. I'm grabbing all the stuff required for the disc swap tomorrow. I'm finally healthy enough to go work on the jeep. This weekend will net a lot of progress to make up for lost time. I'm ordering the B.Lee offroad steering tonight!!!

Looks good man. Its not the bending, its the flaring that counts.
