Kyle, I'm looking at your homebrew steering. better make sure you keep your shop locked, or it'll be gone.

I really have to upgrade the steering, i get wierd popping noises and hissing in my steering when i crank my wheel. These new MTRs are killer but they need to be accomodated with steering that can handle them.

Being a broke-a$$ kid i cant afford beefier steering from some kind of dealer. Looks like its time to save up for a welder!!

Yes, I get some feedback from bumps in the road/trail, but not enough to bother me. HTH!!

I need some specs so I can build my steering. I'm running stock on 8" lift. its as far off "smooth as butter" as you can get.

Great build and fab! Would you change anything about your tc skid? I like the idea and might borrow it if thats ok.

I wouldn't change this one, but if I did change anything, it would be to completely build the t-case skid/x-member, and not use the factory x-member. It hangs down a little, but I would rather have the protection, than the clearance!! LOL!! I have not had any issues with it though, and I have beat on it pretty good.
