Cherokee War Machine Build
This is my ongoing build. Nothing under the hood at the moment (a lot of parts have been replaced in the past).
Removed the rear bench seats, cut out their support to open up the floor, then built two storage boxes on hinges. The carpet was also removed and replaced with Herculiner.
The back panel cubby was removed and I turned it into a locked gun storage box for my AK Pistol w/ 'Wrist Brace'.
Put in a sound bar from a new vehicle and installed LEDs in it.

Overhead console was installed from a different vehicle (can't remember which I pulled it out of) and switches were installed for interior LEDs, off-road lights, and rear lights.
Dash was cut to accommodate the hide away touch screen stereo head unit.
Paint job before:
Finished this today:
I still need to apply Herculiner to the rocker panels/lower trim.

Painted the AK and 2 mags to match the paint job.
Will be fabricating much more storage stuff and such in the near future, and a few more things on the outside. Then general repair.

One of my favorite XJ's I've ever seen! The storage compartments are awesome.
I really like the paint, too. I have seen that same pattern in hydrocoating films and I wanted to have a rifle done in it, but my local shop doesn't have it yet.
...and I REALLY need to re-do the bedliner on my own floors. Every time I see it in someone else's it reminds me how much I need to add a few coats to mine.

I just used rustoleum camo spray paint and made the stencils as I have a vinyl cutter that I use for a side business - it was time consuming, but turned out great (in my opinion).
My bedliner is only about a week old, so I have to wait and see how it holds up.

Branded it the War Machine:
Designed this and made a stencil (was almost impossible as vinyl won't stick to the Herculiner haha), spray painted, then touched up with a brush:
Painted the interior of the gun storage box tan to match the rest of the interior trim:

It is the stock carrier for this jeep I believe. We are going to fabricate a different one when I build my rear bumper as I want one that can also carry jerry cans.
