30 pages later, dude nice job. I just picked up my first XJ. I cant wait to see what path it takes me. I plan to daily the XJ and let my srt8 sit in the garage

I'm thinking I'll jeep it simple and do a 31" tire setup with a 3" lift or so. light bars, roof rack fender flares etc lol. I'm not as talented as you with the welding and machine work.

good work man. requires tons of patience

electrically speaking, it's plug and play. Physically it won't fit without grinding away on brackets etc

Lol it'll be a few months before I'll have time to do a write up. I'm in middle of packing down my apartment and getting ready to move in a house that we are also in the middle of purchasing. It has a garage so that mean I can take my time doing projects on the jeeps. It also help that the house is 2 miles away from my job.

Sounds like a great setup. Thanks for the info. I'm also assuming you got the larger alternator for winch and accessories and not audio right;-) Although you could just install a radio loud enough you feel it...lol

It's for my 98 2 door, I've already upgraded the one for my mj, went from a 60amp alt to a 100 amp alternator and upgraded the wires after noticing they were melting one day checking in my engine bay but I'm not running much wattage yet, except for my led lights, and eventually get a winch and cb radio...

I'm not sure how you can modify it to work for a 98 since the plugs on the back are different. I never looked into that
