lol I threw my carpet out...had to cut it up in small pieces so the trash man would take it. Had trouble believing I'd find a buyer for it.

Great progress!
Have you addressed the tailpipe yet? I had to do the same thing.

x3...just XJ things. I'll be chopping my new Performance Curve exhaust soon because of clearance issues with my new springs.

I used a down-turned tailpiece from NAPA or Advance. It fit snug and is not welded. All you will have to do is turn that shackle bolt around.

I would like to add that I just checked if my rear pinion angle need to be shimmed... It looks like I don't need to shim anything. The pinion is pointing directly at the t case, minus two degrees.

Looks like the relocation brackets plus the lift shackles moved the leaf springs downwards, which changes the angle of the pinion. That's GREAT lol. Saves myself some money. Not really. I ll just spend it on other xj parts lol

Nice, Steve. I think I may do something similar when I address this and put my gas tank skid on. I think I'm going to make my own rear hanger though, I hate the ones with the rubber loop, they hang too low.

I was thinking of just chopping the rubber part off and using a piece of 1/8" flat iron I have lying around and weld it on. Or I might use it as a template and make a new one altogether.

I think UTK is fine for most people. All depends on your $$$, and how far you wanna go. OTK requires track bar relocation to the top of the axle, IIRC

I like to leave in a rubber connection for exhaust mounting. For vibration and rattle resistance. Also lets the system keep its own shape and not flex with the rest of the jeep.

I came across this picture of a setup that seems to eliminate tierod roll. But the relocated trackbar looks hacked.
